BREVARD COUNTY, FL – A 22-year-old was killed in Brevard County after an accident on Thursday afternoon, Click Orlando reports.
The crash occurred shortly after noon near the intersection of Canaveral Groves Boulevard and Morris Avenue.
The victim was driving west on Canaveral Groves Boulevard when he suddenly lost control, veered off the road, and struck a palm tree. His car become engulfed in flames and he died at the scene.
His 24-year-old passenger survived and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time it is not clear what caused the driver to lose control.
