ORLANDO, FL – First responders were called to a two-vehicle crash on Florida’s Turnpike ramp around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The collision occurred on the exit ramp leading to I-4, according to Click Orlando. A driver of a 2012 Ford Aerostar did not negotiate a curve, which caused him to collide head-on with a 2008 Hyundai Sonata.
The driver of the van collided with a guardrail. The driver of the Sonata traveled off course, went into the center median, and hit a raised concrete.
Both men were hospitalized for severe and critical injuries.
The ramp closed and has reopened since.
