Man, 19, dead after single-vehicle crash in Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A single-vehicle crash claimed a man’s life in Orlando before 1 a.m. Tuesday. 

The collision occurred in the area of Lake Underhill Road and South Palermo Avenue, WFTV reported. The driver of a Jeep SUV was going east when for reasons unknown, he lost control of his vehicle. 

The impact caused him to jump from one side of the road before colliding with a street sign and fence. His SUV then rolled over before crashing into a tree. 

Troopers side the 19-year-old man declined to wear a seatbelt and was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to fatal injuries.
