ORLANDO, FL – A woman was left dead after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night, Click Orlando reported.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. on North Goldenrod Road. A driver of a 2014 Toyota hit a woman who was standing in the northbound lane of Goldenrod.
It is unclear why the woman was standing in the lane. The impact of getting stuck by the 4Runner knocked her to the ground, and she was then run over by a black car.
The black car did not render aid and fled the scene; the 4Runner driver, a 29-year-old woman, and the passenger with her, a 28-year-old man, stayed in sight.
The occupants of the 4Runner were unharmed. However, the woman who was hit was taken to a hospital, where she later gave in to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
