APOPKA, FL – A single-vehicle crash claimed one life and injured another on State Route 429, the Orlando Sentinel revealed.
The collision occurred before 10:30 a.m. The driver of a 2022 Toyota Tundra pickup truck, a 77-year-old man, lost control of his vehicle as it went off course, hit a guardrail, and overturned.
The 73-year-old woman with him was taken to a hospital for serious injuries.
The man was also hospitalize; however, he later gave in to fatal injuries at the hospital.
The area closed, but all travel lanes have reopened.
