1 killed in Orlando car-pedestrian crash on E Colonial Drive

ORLANDO, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after getting struck by a vehicle near Fairways Country Club Wednesday. 

The collision took place after 3:30 p.m. at East Colonial Drive and Sandy Creek Lane, Click Orlando reported. 

The driver remained at the scene, and it is unclear if he or she will face charges. 

The pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries. 

The westbound lanes were closed for investigation.
