Collision in Lake Co. injures 1

MONTVERDE, FL – A 21-year-old man was injured on Monday afternoon in an accident in Lake County, WESH reports.

The crash occurred along State Road 91 at mile marker 276 around 3:50 p.m. The victim was driving south in a Mercedes van when he struck a tractor-trailer and overturned.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The truck driver, a 52-year-old man from California, was uninjured and remained at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.
