Crash in Orange County leaves motorcyclist dead

ORLANDO, FL – One person was killed in Orange County on Wednesday following a motorcycle crash, according to Fox 35 Orlando. 

The fatal accident occurred near the intersection of Hiawassee Road and Sandy Lane Drive around 12:30 a.m. The victim lost control of his motorcycle as he traveled south on Hiawassee Road and hit a guardrail.

He was thrown off his motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. After being rushed to the hospital, he passed away.

At this time it is not clear what caused him to lose control.
