Hazmat crews respond to collision involving semi-truck in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – First responders were called to the scene of a crash, and oil spill in St Petersburg early this morning.

According to a report by 10 Tampa Bay, the collision took place around 6:11 a.m. near the intersection of 34th Street North and 7th Avenue North.

The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, both an SUV and a semi-truck were involved.

We do no know if anyone was injured as a result of the collision. Hazmat crews responded to the scene to clean up spilled oil from the 18-wheeler.
