LONGWOOD, FL – A pedestrian was seriously hurt after he was hit by a vehicle in the area of State Road 600 and Orange Avenue Tuesday.
The collision took place before 7:30 a.m., according to the Orlando Sentinel. Police said the man was walking west on northbound S.R. 600 and was stuck by a Ford passenger vehicle traveling in the center lane.
He was taken to two hospitals, first by ground and then by helicopter for treatment.
