Two men killed after pickup truck crashes into tow truck on Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – One was injured, and two lives were claimed in a collision on the Florida Turnpike Thursday. 

A trooper was standing alongside a tow truck driver on the shoulder of the road, investigating a separate crash, FOX 35 Orlando reported. Then, for reasons unknown, a driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the tow truck. 

The tow truck driver was not inside his vehicle at the time. The impact led him to succumb to his injuries, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

In addition, the pickup truck driver also gave in to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The passenger from the pickup truck was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. 

No one else was hurt.
