Woman, 27, fatally struck by car in Lake Wales

LAKE WALES, FL – A person’s life was claimed after she was struck by a car near Chalet Suzanne Road before 11 p.m. Saturday, WESH 2 News revealed. 

A driver and a passenger got into an argument, and the driver decided to pull over on the side of the road, and both got out. As both walked, another driver was traveling on the road and did not see the people walking. As a result, the driver of the second vehicle hit the driver of the first car. 

The driver of the first automobile, who was identified as 27-year-old Lataysha Kelly, was hospitalized and succumbed to fatal injuries.
