ORLANDO, FL – A woman’s life was claimed in a three-vehicle collision on the westbound lanes of SR 408 around 6 a.m. Thursday.
For reasons unclear, a driver of a Mazda came to a halt on the road, as indicated in a report from WESH. As a result, a driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck attempted to avoid hitting the Mazda driver but was unable to stop, which led to him, or her colliding with the Mazda.
In turn, a driver of a Chevrolet Silverado collided with the Ford, creating a “domino effect.”
It is unclear if the Mazda driver was experiencing a medical episode and if the pickup truck drivers were hurt.
The Mazda driver, an unidentified 36-year-old woman, was hospitalized and later succumbed to fatal injuries.
