Woman fatally struck by vehicle on Lake County highway

LAKE COUNTY, FL – A 37-year-old woman was killed on Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle, Click Orlando reports.

The accident occurred on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, near Tower Center Boulevard around 4:20 a.m.

The victim was walking in the westbound lanes when she was hit by a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. She was killed at the scene.

The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene. A passenger in the Camaro sustained minor injuries.
