Motorcyclist killed in Lake County Crash

LAKE COUNTY, FL – A 57-year-old man from Leesburg was killed on Saturday night after a collision threw him from his motorcycle, Click Orlando reports. 

The victim was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle north on County Road 473 when he slammed into the side of a southbound Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that entered his path as it attempted to make a left turn.

The rider was thrown from his motorcycle. A 51-year-old woman in another vehicle stopped to help him when they were both struck by a northbound Buick Century.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. The woman attempting to help him was hospitalized with serious injuries.
