1 killed, 1 seriously hurt in fiery rollover crash near Chuluota

CHULUOTA, FL – A fiery rollover collision led one person to succumb to fatal injuries, and another was sent to a hospital Tuesday. 

The fatal crash happened before 10:30 p.m. on Brumley Road near White Tail Trail, not far from Chuluota, Click Orlando reported. 

A Porsche Boxster driver was driving west on Brumley Road and did not negotiate a curve, prompting him to lose control of the car. The sports utility vehicle drifted off the road, drove into a ditch, struck a tree, and rolled over several times. 

The force of the wreck pinned the passenger inside, and the occupant was killed at the scene. The driver, however, was able to escape the vehicle. Medics took the driver to the hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
