27-year-old woman killed in head-on crash on SR-429 in Winter Garden

WINTER GARDEN, FL – A woman was killed and tow others were rushed to the hospital following a head-on crash in Winter Garden on Monday night.

According to WESH, the crash occurred at about 6:10 p.m. as a sedan heading north on the roadway crossed the median near Tilden Road and crash head-on into a van.

The force of the impact ejected the driver of the sedan, a 27-year-old female. She was rushed to a local hospital, where she died a short time later.

The driver of the van and a third driver involved were both taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
