MIMS, FL – A firetruck versus pickup truck crash on U.S. 1 at Burkholm Road injured four people Sunday.
According to Click Orlando, the collision occurred around 10:30 pm.
After the firetruck entered the intersection going to U.S. 1, the vehicle collided with a pickup truck.
The impact of the crash made the fire rollover. As a result, the three firefighters and the pickup truck driver were hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
Two firefighters suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other one sustained minor injuries.
The pickup truck was also seriously injured. All of the passengers were wearing seatbelts.
At the time of reporting, the U.S. 1 area closed but has reopened since.
