One killed in Colonial Drive crash

ORALANDO, FL – One person was killed on Thursday morning after an accident near downtown Orlando, ABC 9 reports. 

The fatal crash occurred near the intersection of East Colonial Drive and Shrine Avenue around 3:15 a.m.

Details on the cause of the crash are not currently available but it involved a single vehicle with two occupants.

One occupant sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where they later passed away.

It is not clear whether the other occupant was hurt.
