Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on US-192 near Celebration

CELEBRATION, FL – A man was killed while attempting to cross US-192 near celebration early Thursday morning.

According to Around Osceola, the victim was attempting to cross the freeway near Blake Boulevard at about 1 a.m. when he was hit by a Nissan Centra.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, their identity is being withheld pending further investigation.

The driver, a 23-year-old Orlando man, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if he will be charged at this time.
