Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in SW Orlando

ORLANDO, FL – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Orlando’s tourist district early Wednesday morning.

According to WKMG, the unidentified man was struck in the area of Vineland Road and Kirkman Road at about 12:30 a.m.

Police say the victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

The driver involved remained at the scene. No charges have been filed against that individual at the time of this writing.
