POLK COUNTY, FL – One person was seriously injured after colliding with a school bus in Polk County, WFLA reports.
The accident occurred in Haines City around 5:30 a.m. The victim, a 21-year-old man, was driving south on US-27 when a school bus turned in from of him from Holly Hill Cutoff Road.
The man struck the back of the bus and suffered serious injuries. The 69-year-old woman driving the bus was not injured. No children were on the bus at the time of the accident.
