St. Cloud teenager killed in crash

SANDERSON, FL – An 18-year-old from St. Cloud was killed on Sunday after being involved in an accident in Sanderson, local news reports.

The victim was travelling in a vehicle with seven others in the eastbound lanes of US-90 when the driver lost control and went into the south shoulder. They then swerved in an attempt to get back on the highway but over corrected and the car flipped over.

The victim was taken to Lake City Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. The driver and six other passengers sustained minor injuries.

It is not clear what caused the driver to lose control.
