Sumter County crash leaves cyclist dead

SUMTER COUNTY, FL – A cyclist was killed on Sunday night after he was struck by a vehicle in Sumter County, Click Orlando reports. 

The victim, an adult man, was riding south on State Road 471 when he was struck by a Chevrolet Trailblazer near the State Road 50 intersection.

He was then thrown off his bike and died at the scene. A Chevrolet Malibu driving behind the Trailblazer struck the bicycle in the immediate aftermath of the first collision.
