Woman dies after crashing into tree stump in Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, FL – A woman was killed on Wednesday morning after she crashed into a tree stump in Lake County, WESH reports.

The 32-year-old victim was in a Mercedes traveling north on County Road 561 when she lost control near the Cypress Cove Lane intersection. Her car left the road and struck a tree stump.

She died at the scene. It is not clear what caused her to lose control.
