GROVELAND, FL – A driver of a Tesla was speeding when he hit a couple of trees and a few fences before crashing into two homes, resulting in home damage and prompting the car to catch fire Monday.
FOX 35 Orlando said the homeowners were unharmed, while the Tesla driver was sent to the hospital and was released later. The driver has a history of speeding through the same neighborhood where the collision took place and having disregard for the stop signs.
One of the homeowners is dealing with $60,000 in damages.
It is unclear if the driver will face charges.
Officials have not specified the exact location of Sunday’s crash nor indicated additional information regarding this wreck.
