Cyclist fatally struck by truck in Mount Plymouth

MOUNT PLYMOUTH, FL  – A person was left dead after a crash between a bicycle and a truck on State Road 46 before 10:30 p.m. Friday. 

The collision happened east of Deal Drive when a person was cycling west on the shoulder of SR 46, traveled in a southwest direction, entered another lane, and collided with a truck, FOX 35 Orlando reported. 

The cyclist was hit by the right side of the truck and succumbed to fatal injuries.
