ORLANDO, FL – A multi-vehicle crash on the 200 block of Dean Road sent five teenagers to the hospital and claimed one life Sunday.

A preliminary investigation indicated that a driver of a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, which was reported stolen, ran a red light and crashed into a driver of a 2016 Toyota 4Runner, who was turning left onto Dean Road from the SR 408 off-ramp, Fox 35 Orlando reported.

The impact caused one vehicle to overturn while the other caught on fire.

The driver of the Santa Fe, a teenager, and four passengers, also teenagers, were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, an unidentified 23-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
