Man, 52, killed in Christmas pickup truck, pedestrian crash

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A man’s life was claimed in a crash between a pedestrian and a car after midnight Thursday in Christmas. 

According to Click Orlando, the pedestrian did not use the crosswalk, went into the path of an eastbound 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on SR 50, and was hit. 

The driver, a 30-year-old man, also crashed into the back of a dump truck. He was unharmed and remained at the scene. 

The pedestrian, a 52-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
