LITHIA, FL – A man was killed on Thursday after his vehicle struck an alligator in Lithia, according to WFTV News.
The victim was a 59-year-old man who struck an 11-foot alligator as he traveled east on County Road 672. He lost control of his vehicle and left the road before flipping over into a ditch.
He died at the scene. The alligator was also killed.
