ORLANDO, FL – A pedestrian was killed along John Young parkway after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night, WESH reports.

The accident occurred near the intersection of John Young Parkway and Old Winter Garden Road around 10:15 p.m. on Friday.

A 34-year-old woman from Orlando was driving a Cadillac Deville southbound on John Young Parkway when she struck the pedestrian.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where they were later pronounced dead.
