GOLDENROD, FL – A 77-year-old woman was killed, and a 19-year-old man was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries after a left turn crash before 5 p.m. Sunday.
According to Click Orlando, the collision occurred in the area of North Mira Boulevard and University Boulevard.
Troopers said the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu – the 77-year-old woman – traveled south on North Mira Boulevard and the motorist of a Subaru WRX, the 19-year-old man, traveled west on University Boulevard. The driver of the Subaru crashed into the Malibu after the 77-year-old woman attempted to turn left on eastbound University Boulevard.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the details of this collision. More information will be posted as it becomes known.
