ORLANDO, FL – An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized for critical injuries after getting hit by a car Wednesday. 

The collision occurred before 7 p.m. on North Pine Hills Road and Silver Star Road, Click Orlando reported. 

The boy ran into the path of a car in an unmarked crosswalk. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. 

The driver was unharmed. 

The boy is in stable condition.
