Driver hospitalized after collision involving train in Maitland

MAITLAND, FL – A driver was hospitalized after their vehicle was struck by a train in Maitland Monday morning, WESH reports.

The accident occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. near the intersection of Horatio Avenue and Maitland Avenue.

The victim was traveling west on Maitland when they collided with a northbound train. It is not clear why they crashed.
