One dead, one hospitalized after crash near Wedgefield

WEDGEFIELD, FL – A 46-year-old man was injured, and a 63-year-old man was left dead after a crash on SR 520 Friday. 

The collision occurred before 12:30 a.m., Click Orlando reported. The 63-year-old man, traveling west in a green Toyota Yaris, entered the pathway of a Nissan Murano. As a result, the 46-year-old man of the Murano hit the right side of the Yaris. 

Both drivers were belted. 

The Nissan driver was taken to Orlando Health and sustained minor injuries. 

The Yaris driver was taken to Waterford Lake Hospital and succumbed to deadly injuries there.
