One killed after collision with Mack truck in Lake County

CLERMONT, FL – A 37-year-old man was killed in Lake County on Monday morning after colliding with a Mack Truck, Click Orlando reports. 

The accident occurred in Clermont at the intersection of Hammock Ridge Road and Foxchase Drive around 9:20 a.m.

A Mack truck was stopped in the road with its hazard lights on when the victim struck it in the rear with his Dodge pickup truck.

The victim, a man from Clermont, died at the scene. The 49-year-old Mack truck driver was uninjured.
