Orlando accident leaves one dead, five injured

ORLANDO, FL – A pedestrian was killed and five people were injured following an accident in Orlando Thursday afternoon, Click Orlando reports.

The accident occurred just before 5:45 p.m. in the intersection of 23rd Street and South Nashville Avenue.

Details on the events leading up to the accident are not clear at this time. Two vehicles, a 2016 Nissan Altima, a 2009 Dodge Ram, collided in the intersection while also striking a group of four pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians was killed in the crash. The others suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The occupants in the Nissan, both 17-year-old boys, were also hospitalized.

The 68-year-old man driving the Dodge was uninjured.
