7-year-old girl killed by van in her driveway

ORLANDO, FL – A 7-year-old girl was killed on Easter Sunday after a van struck her in her driveway, Fox 35 Orlando reports. 

The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in Lake County. The victim was exiting the van after being dropped off at home by her 70-year-old grandmother. She walked around to the front of the van, when the grandmother started to pull forward.

After she was hit, the girl was rushed to Leesburg Regional Hospital, where she later passed away.
